  1. Cook the french fries according to the packaging. I like mine a little crispier, so I usually bake mine for 1-2 minutes longer than suggested.
  2. While the fries are baking, prepare your salsa. In a blender throw all the ingredients for the salsa. If the sauce is too thick, add about 1tbsp of water at a time to get it to the consistency you like.
  3. Take the fries out of the oven and place them in a deep bowl that is oven safe. Scatter the 1 cup of shredded cheese onto the fries then the carne asada. Bake at 400 for about 4 minutes.
  4. Take the fries out of the oven, and drizzle creamy avocado salsa over fries or serve on the side as a dipping sauce!

I get my carne asada from a local carniceria “meat market” where its seasoned for me, but when I don’t have the luxury of buying my carne asada meat prepared, I use Weber Carne Asada Seasoning, which I definitely recommend.
