Chocolate Filled Puff Pastry
The easiest, most decadent chocolate filled puff pastry. Takes about 1 minute to prepare, but it’s so delicious you could probably devour it in about 1 minute too!

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit .
  2. Let your puff pastry thaw so that it’s pliable, according to the packaging. Then place your XL Hershey’s Chocolate bar in the middle of the puff pastry sheet.
  3. Cut the puff pastry as shown in the picture so that you can braid it over the chocolate.
  4. First, fold the flaps at the top and bottom of the pastry sheet onto the chocolate bar, so that they are tucked in when you being to braid the dough. Begin to place the strips over the chocolate bar, so that it starts looking like a braid.
  5. Once braided, prepare your egg wash by mixing 1 egg with about 1 tbsp of water. Brush your braided pastry with the wash and then top with the sliced almonds.
  6. Line your baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes.
