Fresh Summertime Strawberry Salad

Fresh Summertime Strawberry Salad

Strawberry season is the absolute best. Am I right? I am lucky enough to have those little strawberry shacks scattered around town that sell “freshly picked strawberries” and sometimes other fruits. They are so sweet and ripe, I am addicted! I try to take advantage of strawberry season by incorporating them into as many recipes as I can. This salad is definitely a staple in my diet during the summer. It is super quick and easy to make & sooo delicious! This is the perfect side salad or snack, but it can easily be turned into a meal if you throw in some chicken and/or greens.Broccoli and Strawberry salad, with poppy seed dressing drizzled on top.

Instructions
  1. Mix all the ingredients for the dressing and let sit in the fridge while you prepare the salad.
  2. Chop the broccoli florets into small bite size pieces. I like to chop each strawberry into 6 pieces (pretty small) because this way the chunks are around the same size as the dried cranberries, slivered almonds, and red onion & this means a little bit of everything in each bite!
  3. Toss into a bowl and add dressing as desired! ♥
Recipe Notes

You can also use a store-bought poppy seed dressing. My favorite is Marie's Poppy Seed Dressing. So good!
